Our client, an international Oil and Gas Operator are looking for a Junior Cost Engineer to be based in their Aberdeen office. The position is offered with a long term renewable contract and negotiable daily rate.
Job Overview:
As Junior Cost Engineer, you'll be responsible for assisting Cost Engineers with reports and ad-hoc duties.
Responsibilities:
* Help produce VOWD / Forecast reports * Assist with Reconciling of Actual Vs Budget reports * Check and update Purchase Order values in all cost reports * Close old Purchase Orders * Check and enter Service Contractor Invoices * Enter new requisitions and uplift Purchase Orders at request of Engineers
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying, Accounting or a related subject * Some experience in Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Accounting ideally gained within Oil and Gas or similar industries
