Perform various welding processes to repair, modify and install various pipes, structures, foundations and fittings associated with shipboard hydraulic, pneumatic and water systems. Select proper materials and requirements to perform welding functions. Fabricate and install fixtures and jigs required for welding process alignments. Involves heavy lifting, frequent stooping or bending and possible working assignments in overhead structures, confined spaces or beneath machinery. Strict adherence to safety, quality standards, good housekeeping habits, high level of critical thinking/reading comprehension, and frequent travel/overtime are required.
Responsibilities:
Berth / unberth vessels up to VLCC size
Onboard HSE / ISPS representative for terminal
Liaise with vessel for safe and efficient cargo operation
Monitor weather and advise on port closure
Vetting of vessels
Assist with marine related activities
Provide leadership and engage in the operational management of executive protection in Statoil
Ensure implementation of required executive protection measures corresponding to the prevailing threat picture and corporate instructions
Support and direct other staff in implementation of executive protection measures
Advise and support the business in other areas of security management and practice
Perform security deliveries to Statoil globally (for example: security risk assessments, competence, training and exercises)
Maintain close liaison with relevant offices within Statoil
Work within and towards/across all security disciplines (personnel security, information security and physical security)
Develop and maintain a comprehensive security network
