Required to perform advanced level inspection activities and provide technical guidance during implementation of new NDT technologies or compliance audits.
Independently conduct the operations of advanced NDT methods by executing inspection plans and schedules, coordinating all inspection field requirements and issuing reports.
Mentor technicians, assess competency, and identify training and certification requirements in relation to new advanced inspection technology.
Provide consultation to operating plants regarding their inspection challenges.
Draft technique documents for new advanced NDT inspection campaigns.
Forecast new projects for NDT technology implementation.
Assist with planning manpower requirements for advanced inspection technologies.
Adopt standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with HSE policies.
Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and ensure equipment testing and re-calibration is kept up to date.
Produce detailed reports of inspections, clearly identifying the scope and any defects or inconsistencies found.
